In accordance with the federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations (40 CFR Part 763), Ririe Joint School District No. 252 provides this annual notification regarding asbestos-containing materials in its school buildings.
Asbestos Management Plan
The district maintains a written Asbestos Management Plan for each school building. The plan documents the location of any asbestos-containing materials, the results of periodic inspections and surveillance, and any response actions taken. The district conducts the periodic surveillance and re-inspections required by AHERA.
