Accessibility Statement

Ririe Jr/Sr High School and Ririe Joint School District No. 252 are committed to making this website usable by everyone in our community, including people with disabilities. We believe families, students, and staff should be able to find school information without barriers. This commitment is reflected in Board Policy 4135.

Our standard

The district strives to conform this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA, and to WAI-ARIA 1.0, the standards referenced by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In practice that means we design for keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, visible focus, meaningful headings and landmarks, descriptive link text, captions where applicable, and text alternatives for images.

An ongoing effort

Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add pages, post news, and update calendars, we review new content against our standard and fix issues as we find them. Some older documents or third-party tools we link to (for example grade portals or streaming services) may not yet be fully accessible; we are working with those providers and can supply the information another way on request.

Report a barrier

If you encounter a page, document, or feature you cannot use, please tell us. Include the web address (URL) of the page, a short description of the problem, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you were using. We will respond and provide the information in an accessible format. Report accessibility barriers to the district’s Technology Director:
